With a 1 to 10 staff-to-child ratio, we ensure attentive care and meaningful connections, reminiscent of a close-knit, old-school community, where every child feels valued and included.
Our Story
Meet our Founders, Carla & Neil Soundy
I have dedicated approximately 14 years to Oscar care, and it has been a true privilege to work alongside families and collaborate with such an exceptional team during our transition to Shine Kids.
Having been married for 26 years, I take great pride in raising
four children, and we are now blessed with two grandchildren—these experiences truly enrich our lives.
My passion for supporting whanau has always been at the forefront of my career, making it a natural choice to embrace the opportunity to step into a leadership role and pursue an entrepreneurial path.
I am deeply grateful for the support of our outstanding team
and the schools with which we partner, and I do not take this
honor for granted.
